"The layered vocals have drawn comparisons with the 90’s alternative band, The Breeders, who share a similar vocal approach. Songs such as ‘The North West’ and ‘Give it Back’ feature laid-back strumming of the guitar, while songs such as ‘The Man Who Wanted it All’ produce a somewhat heavier, angsty vibe. On assessing their place in the ‘alternative rock’ genre born by the likes of the Lemonheads and The Flaming Lips, they say that it is their ability to “bridge the gap between noise and melody” that earns them their position."
